Our Roots and Expansion
Based in Kingston, BETCO Premier Ltd. is a family-owned business founded more than three decades ago by people who are passionate about bringing high-quality products to their neighbors in Jamaica. Initially, we were founded under the name FG Trading. As FG Trading, we developed a reputation as a reliable restaurant and hotel supplier, serving businesses throughout Jamaica.
Our business allowed us to identify a growing demand in Jamaica for fine wines and spirits. In response to the needs of customers, we rebranded as BETCO Premier Ltd. in December of 1999, and pivoted toward focusing exclusively on fine wines and spirits. BETCO quickly developed a stellar reputation as purveyors of premium and unique brands sourced from many regions throughout the world. BETCO obtained distribution rights to fine wines from France, Italy, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Argentina, Portugal, and the United States of America. Customers responded enthusiastically to our delivery of well-known brands to the island, and our company has been growing ever since. Today, BETCO is one of the largest wine distributors in Jamaica.

BETCO is pleased to continue serving hotels and restaurants in Jamaica, although we now focus exclusively on distributing premium brands of fine wines and spirits to these businesses. We also sell our exceptional products to supermarkets throughout the island, where customers can purchase them.
